I have a straight back fretted amplified washtub. Where in Minnesota can I sit in and play?

Forget Minnesota. Bring it to the Isle of Arran. Let's see a picture!

RE: where to play

Marlin,
I live in the ole North State by God and have a hard time finding a place to play! I'm serious about my playing but in bluegrass circles I tick off any bass players. They are jealous of the sound and attention I get out of two plastic tubs. You know bass players... you never notice the good ones unless they stop playing. Another bass player that gets noticed pisses them off. I long for some ole jug band jammin!

Off the West coast of Scotland, about on a level with Glasgow, sheltered from the Atlantic by the Kintyre peninsula. See you soon? Smile

RE: where to play

If I still lived in Raleigh we could have a good jam with that bass.

How about them Blue Devils!
